The Story

Rome was not built in a day and it was not built by one individual.  In the 21st Century, it is a collective effort of academia, businesses, and industry to bring together the people, technologies, and resources that are shaping the Information Age.
Dr. Karen Hypolite is one of many. Her work in academia, business, and industry is but a microcosm of the efforts of so many working to bring about change and to undergird the heavy lifting of shaping a century that is still maturing.

Science Education Researcher
The ultimate goal of the science education community is to enable students to become contributors to the scientific enterprise. One of the components of the nature of science understands that science has evolved over time with many people contributing through trial and error, hypotheses, and theories that have been proven and disproven.   With an understanding of student learning styles, I incorporate as many teaching techniques as possible that are available to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
